Justin and I are spending one-night sleeping outside to raise funds and awareness about the plight of Syrian refugees #SleepOutForSyria
Auckland
Justin and I are joining with churches across the country to ‘Sleep Out for Syria’ by sleeping outside churches to raise awareness of the millions of refugees who have fled their homes, and to stand in solidarity with Tearfund’s partner, the Lebanese Baptist Society, who are helping refugee families on the border of Lebanon and Syria.
It symbolises the church as a place of hope where people in need can turn to. Funds raised go to Tearfund’s Syrian Refugee Appeal, to support their local partner the Lebanese Baptist Society to help them continue to help families in need.
We are a couple who want to stand in solidarity with the innocent civilians caught up in the devastating conflict in Syria. We are standing with Tearfund to support the Lebanese Baptist Society's work with refugees.
#SleepOutForSyria is a one-night event to raise funds and awareness about the plight of Syrian refugees.
