The "Making a Difference" week (MAD week)at Hamilton Girls High School gives Year 9 students the opportunity to investigate and find solutions or ways to make a difference in our community.
This year, the students of 9HA are fundraising to purchase socks to contribute to the 'Clothe our Kids Waikato' supply of clothes that are distributed to those in need of clothing packages via various agencies.
Whilst the organisation receives a large amount of clothing donations, they do struggle to get matching socks!!!
The students have made candy sleighs for sale for $4 each which will buy a pack of kids socks to contribute. So 100% of proceeds will gontowatds socks!!
