The Animal Sanctuary is an extraordinary charity. Located in Matakana, just north of Auckland, they provide a haven for abused and neglected animals, a place where injured native birds can be rehabilitated and released into the wild again and a place where ex battery hens can be rehabilitated and rehomed.
42.195 kilometres is a long way to run. I'm doing it partly for the challenge, partly because I like running, and partly to raise money for The Animal Sanctuary, which is where you come in.
