The Marlborough SPCA has recently had a huge number of kittens and puppies looking for homes and they still keep coming.

All of the puppies and kittens need feeding, vaccinating, worming, microchipping before rehoming. Only about a quarter of the cost is covered by the adoption fee. Please help the centre cover these costs. Any help you can give would be much appreciated. The centre receives no government funding and relies on donations to help cover the never ending operating costs involved in feeding and providing shelter for the animals.

I have been a volunteer at the centre for four years and also trained as an auxiliary officer to assist the Inspectors deal with animal welfare concerns. I love being involved at the centre and helping find the animals new forever homes.

Extended opportunity to donate! 29 April 2015

A big thank you to the Marlborough Express for highlighting the SPCA's appeal to help raise much needed funds to care for the puppies and kittens at the centre. We have been able to extend the closing date for the page for people to contribute whatever they can as every donation is very much appreciated.
