Fundraising for Barnardos Aotearoa
Nationwide
The Sarah Lilli Fund has helped nearly 2500 children to enjoy music and dancing lessons; swimming, soccer and other sports; or to go to camp with their friends – activities otherwise out of their reach.
Sarah’s Dad Paddy is on his bike again to complete his Tour Aotearoa. This time it’s the South Island going from Picton to Bluff over 13 days from late January 2025.
Apart from cycling 1,300 kms, he’s set himself a challenging goal of raising $13,000 to fund another 70 Sarah Lilli grants.
Please support Paddy’s efforts so a lot more children in need can enjoy sporting, creative and social activities that help to change their lives.
You can follow Paddy’s adventure as recounted each day by Sarah’s friend Tiger Lilli https://www.facebook.com/TigerLilli.Payne and you can track his progress in almost real-time too: https://paddypayne.maprogress.com/lengthofsouthisland

Thanks so much for tracking this page down Hannah & Brock. I had such a lovely stay at your place. The rest of the ride went very well, although my legs were pretty stuffed by the end and I was pushing the back up a couple of hills. The ODT did a pretty good write up too. https://www.odt.co.nz/southland/journey-and-fundraising-source-satisfaction
Thanks for your support Linda & Gordon. The ride was an amazing experience and it was made even more special to know that it would help raise funds in memory of our dear Sarah, helping so many children and their families. Yes, it has been a while since we saw you at your big family gathering. It was a lovely evening. Hope to see you again when we are over next.
