Barnardos Aotearoa

Barnardos Aotearoa

Barnardos Aotearoa is New Zealand's largest children's charity. We work with the most vulnerable tamariki and whānau across Aotearoa.

Nationwide

Barnardos Aotearoa is a national children's charity that provides local services across Aotearoa, from intensive family support to early learning services. Creating opportunities for tamariki to have the best of starts in life is what we do. We work with tamariki, rangatahi and whānau to build nurturing relationships and resilient homes and communities, so that children can reach their full potential.

We are there when families need us most, providing support throughout the whole childhood journey, and beyond. We work on the frontline with communities who are most at risk, dealing with challenging and complex issues like poverty, family violence, child abuse, addiction, mental-health problems and neglect.

We can only continue this vital mahi with your support, so donate to Barnardos Aotearoa today to help us create an Aotearoa where every child can thrive.

More about us

For 60 years, we’ve been part of communities throughout the motu. Today, our mahi across social services, early learning services contributes to Barnardos’ vision of ‘an Aotearoa where every child shines bright’.
