Kia Ora, Case here! I’ve set myself a goal this year to raise money for 'I AM HOPE' and I need your help! We lost over 500 people to suicide last year and these numbers are continuing to rise every year! I know from my own experiences how dark it can be. Sadly, I lost my dad to a drug overdose 3 years ago and this resulted in my mental health dramatically taking a turn for the worse. With the help of counsellors, family and loved ones I was able to overcome my challenges with mental health. Exercise has been one of the most powerful tools through my journey and in my opinion the most efficient ways to change your state of mind.
Over the next 365 days I will 'SQUAT FOR HOPE' by completing 100 squats everyday to raise awareness for mental health and the role exercise can have to improve your mental state when going through difficult times.
