As you probably know I do a lot of running and am really into fitness, but what you may not know is my amazing wife Victoria has type 1 diabetes which is an ongoing challenge which not only affects her but 250,000 New Zealanders.

Type 1 diabetes is when your body has stopped producing insulin. People with type 1 diabetes need to inject insulin to live.

Type 1 diabetes is usually diagnosed in children.

5 to 10 percent of people with diabetes in New Zealand have Type 1 diabetes.

November is diabetes action month and they are running a 250,000 step challenge for the month to raise awareness and funds for diabetes New Zealand, but I thought why stop at 250,000 so I’m going to double it and do 500,000

Please give to this amazing cause.
