Stop the Cycle (of child abuse)

My name is Jono and I want to make a difference by helping to wipe out the deliberate and insidious exploitation of kids in New Zealand and around the world.

Child ALERT (ECPAT NZ) is the only organisation in New Zealand whose sole focus is to address the sexual exploitation of children and make a difference by campaigning and lobbying government to protect our children from exploitation in New Zealand. While we may think of this problem as something that only happens in other parts of the world there have been well publicized cases this year in New Zealand where kids have been betrayed and exploited for commercial gain.

On the 24th November I will be attempting to cycle twice around Lake Taupo as part of the Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge, 320kms, 3300 metres vertical climbing, and 11 hours of continuous riding starting in darkness at 1.30am. It's the longest race I've ever done and I would love to get your support for Child Alert to help them make a difference by donating $1, $10 or whatever you can offer to help stop children being hurt.
