Join with me as I climb the equivalent height of Mount Everest to raise money for relief supplies in Myanmar.
2020 was not the year to inspire exercise so I am starting this challenge very much from a 'couch' level of fitness. Over the next couple of months I aim to take on various summits around the lower North Island until I reach the elevation gain of Mount Everest's summit, please share, donate and follow my journey on instagram @kendaldearlove
The last year has been pretty tough for most people, imagine having to flee your home and hide in the midst of everything. You can only take what you can carry, you may not have much warning and this will continue for months. Partners Relief and Development have stayed with the people of Myanmar under military coup to ensure they receive much needed food, shelter and medicine during the attacks on their villages. Partners motto "To love is to act" has struck a chord with me over the last few years that I have supported and followed their work, even from afar our small contributions can together make a big difference.
A Massive Thank-you 7 August 2021
A massive thank-you to everyone who contributed. I have climbed 6000m in elevation gain over 8 weeks, and discovered some beautiful walks in the lower North Island. Every donation has been meaningful, tena rawa atu koe
