Giving back to Southland kids, together with Southern Suzuki.
Southland
This November I will be taking part in the Super Scooter Southern Alps Charity Ride. I will be joined on this ride by my friend Paul Nesbit and we will be raising money for Koru Care Southland. We will be riding 50cc scooters up, down, around, across and ( if they build a tunnel ) through the Southern Alps of New Zealand.
We start at Bluff on the 30th November and make our way to Queenstown, Haast, Ross, Oxford, Tekapo, Mount Cook, Twizel, Arrowtown and then back to Bluff ending on the 7th December. It is a journey of 1800 kms with a gain in elevation of 14000 meters which we will do in 8 days.
Koru Care Southland is a charitable trust which makes dreams come true for children with different illnesses and disabilities. It is made up of committed Southlanders volunteering their time to help fundraise to take these kids on a holiday they will never forget.
Our scooters have been kindly donated to us by John and Alan Crawford from Southern Suzuki Invercargill, whose kindness and continued support is greatly appreciated.
To show our thanks for the donation of the scooters we are raising money for a charity Southern Suzuki care greatly about.
