  • We made it!

    Yahoo! . We made it with time to spare so off to Stewart Island to celebrate. I think we were the hares in this event taking days out to catch up with family, enjoy lying in the sunshine and camping by lakes etc then cycling fast and long (eg 245 km one day) to get back with our cycling buddies. It was great sharing the journey with people along the way but the best thing was always having my husband right there with me. No challenge is too big when you have a special person to share the journey. 😊 Thanks to all the generous people who have made donations.

    Our dot is labelled Sue Andy. You can watch it move as we make our way down the country. If it stays still for too long we must be having a big rest or a bit of a problem! If it goes the wrong way we must be lost. Please let us know :) There are 600 riders but they don't all start on the same day and some are racing while others like us are touring so they will get pretty spread out.

    We aim to get to bluff on 13 March.
