Rachel’s House Trust has been a significant part of my life journey. I was supported from 2015, with my son Eli who was then 7 months old. This time was extremely tough, living through some significant distressing events. I was incredibly blessed to have the practical and emotional support of Rachel's House at this time.

Rachel’s House became a place of growth and connection. I went on to volunteer, become a member of staff, and spent 4–5 years running workshops, connect groups, and the playgroup. The support, encouragement, and opportunities provided, helped shape who I am today and led me to my current role as a mental health support worker with Comcare Trust.

Rachel’s House will always hold a very special place in my heart, and I will forever be grateful for the beautiful women who supported me and walked alongside me through such an important part of my life.

Rachel’s House Trust in Rangiora provides vital support to new parents and families across North Canterbury, offering a safe place of connection, guidance, and support — including social work support for mums and parents who need a helping hand.
