Help Upgrade Our Helipad

Hauora Hokianga is dedicated to providing essential health services to our remote community. Every day, our helipad plays a critical role in saving lives—ensuring rescue helicopters can quickly transfer patients in urgent need of specialised care.

WHY WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT

Our current helipad requires an upgrade to accommodate larger emergency helicopters. The planned improvements include:

- Expanding the helipad to support a wider range of rescue operations.

- Installing new lighting to enable safe landings at all hours.

- Establishing a temporary helipad at the Rawene Golf Club during the upgrade to ensure uninterrupted emergency services.

This work is essential to keeping our emergency helicopter service fully operational and safe for our community.

We need to raise $20,000 to cover the upgrade costs, including both improvements to the permanent helipad and the setup of the temporary facility.
