Susannah - Badminton

Hi, Ifm Susannah Leydon-Davis, a local Waikato athlete who represents NZ for badminton. I compete with my brother Oliver, and together we are the 2014 Oceania Mixed Doubles Champions. 2014 brings a lot for my badminton career with the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in July as a key goal. I have a story to share with other women and teen girls to help raise awareness of endometriosis. Ifve suffered the effects of endometriosis and since 2011 have had two surgeries to have it removed. Together, Insight Endometriosis and I are campaigning to raise not only awareness of the condition but also funds to support us both. In partnership with World Class Waikato, a high performance athlete sustainability organisation, the month of May will host the Next Generation Charity Challenge ? a fundraiser challenge for 12 athletes paired with 12 different charities.
