  Hi everyone, I've got great news! Yesterday, just before midnight, I made it to the northernmost point of Lake Taupo after stepping into the water just after 3.30am at the southern end. That's just over 20 hours. I was utterly exhausted and couldn't stand up, and it is by the far the hardest thing I have ever done. I am very relieved and happy, and pleased to say that fundraising through 'give a little' has tipped over $3,000 thusfar. Thanks so much for your support!

• The date is set!

  Hi everyone! I spoke to my coach Philip Rush this morning, and we have set the date for the swim for this Sunday 9 February. Conditions are good, with little wind. I have been out training in the lake, with my son Arlo paddling beside me, and I'll feeling fit and strong. Wish me luck.
