BBBS Nelson is important to me as I am currently a mentor for this fantastic organisation. 3.5 years ago I decided that I wanted to do volunteer work and this is the organisation I chose to support becasue of the positive effect it has on our young people.

I am back again for second time lucky to try running the New York Marathon in 2013. As part of my journey, I am raising money for an organisation that is very special to me. All money raised will go directly to Big Brothers Big Sisters Nelson as I am funding the costs of my trip myself.

Update for 12/10/2012 11 October 2012

Another cupcake stall today outside ASB Nelson that raised $271, so that takes all fundraising to $2,300 + I still have to apply to ASB for their $750 contribution :) So my goal started out as $750 and I more than tripled that!! Only a few weeks to go now but I will keep on with the push....what an amazing journey to date :) Thank you to all those who have supported me and my fundraising activities, you all rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!
