We're standing with Tearfund to #SleepOutForSyria. Sleeping outside to raise funds and awareness about the plight of Syrian refugees.

We are joining with churches across the country to ‘Sleep Out for Syria’ by sleeping outside churches to raise awareness of the millions of refugees
who have fled their homes, and to stand in solidarity with Tearfund’s partner, the Lebanese Baptist Society, who are helping refugee families on the border of Lebanon and Syria.
It symbolises the church as a place of hope where people in need can turn to. Funds raised go to Tearfund’s Syrian Refugee Appeal, which in turn goes to the Lebanese Baptist Society to help them continue to help families in need.
I'm fundraising this because I see the refugee crisis as a horrific situation that, together, we need to work to heal.
Not long now! 24 June 2016
One week out and heading seriously towards reaching the target. Thanks so much to all of you who have donated so far. You are completely awesome Please don't forget to spread the word and lets see us reach well over $1000 to support Syrian refugees in Lebanon. Every donation made is doubled by theNZ Aid Programme.
As it happens, I'm now doing the Sleepout two nights running (YAY.,,,,,) - first at the awesome St Mary's Silverstream, Upper Hutt... and then on Saturday at West Baptist Church. It's certainly a privilege... Your support is vvvv much appreciated :)
Lovingly
