Welcome to TEAM BEATNETS riding for Team Unicorn . Malcolm and Harry’s father son combo to beat neuroendocrine (NET) cancers! We are excited to join the Tour of New Zealand 2023 to raise funds for Neuroendocrine Cancer NZ- NECNZ (previously The Unicorn Foundation).

Malcolm was diagnosed with NETs in 2011 and has been a director of the Unicorn Foundation and NECNZ since 2012. So much has happened over that time, with the wonderful support of our community and collaboration with dedicated clinicians, NECNZ has established nationwide access to vital diagnostic scans, campaigning successfully for the now fully publicly funded peptide receptor radionuclide therapy PRRT – a lifesaving treatment for NET patients.

But why stop there! We are on a new fundraising mission to establish a network of specialized NET nurses throughout Aotearoa New Zealand who will offer a crucial link for patients and their whanau with NECNZ and the health system. This will enable patients to have better information, support and timely investigation and treatment.
