Running 3Peaks Race Dunedin26km/Balclutha half-marathon /Queenstown Marathon in Gumboots and Overall in next 6 weeks to support Farmers.

Otago

On 21November 2020 i will be running Queenstown Marathon in GUMBOOTS and OVERALL to show my support to farmers around the world.

I am a runner and a dairy farm worker resides in Outram Dunedin Nz.

Working in dairy , I'm also actually aware of the challenges faced by rural communities, and farmers facing ongoing challenges with weather & climate, debt & financing, and regulation & perception. Rural communities and farmers have the highest suicide rate in the country.

Being local to Outram from last 8years i always had a dream to give back to community.

And can't think any better time to give back to local school for young generation.

Outram primary School got 150 Students from year 1 to 8 and most of the students are from farming background so don't think any better way to say thanks to farmers for bringing food to our table especially in this pandemic time.

Just a update i have added 2 more event to my challenge

So on 11th October Sunday i will run Three Peaks Ultra26km Mountain race

And on 1st November i will line up for Balclutha half-marathon.

So 6weeks and 3 events.

Going to be really challenging but there's nothing impossible.
