My wife and I were teenage parents so we know how terrifying, overwhelming and demanding birthing and raising a child can be, especially when you're really still just a kid yourself. I'd say the first 3 years were the most challenging in every aspect. We spent so much time hustling to make it work that sometimes I missed the most treasured moments of being a dad.

Therefore, I am doing this to support a worthy kaupapa that sows back into our whānau and community, but also to help raise awareness about Rachel's House Trust so that expectant parents, and those with young children know that they're not alone and can reach out if they need help.
