So what will be the topics you ask?

    1. Understanding and overcoming fear - 4 steps to making fear your friend

    2. Being vulnerable - The power of vulnerability, what it means to be vulnerable

    3. Owning your own Olympics - What is your own Olympics

    4. Setting purposeful goals - Long-term short term, successful term.

    5. Planning to succeed - Going back to basics

    6. The importance of fun - why do we ride

    7. Overcoming the itty bitty committee - turning the voices in your head into your personal cheerleaders

    A bit about me.

I am a 23-year-old eventer. I have spent my whole life around horses. Three years ago I had a run of concussions whilst riding. Three years ago I had my first anxiety attack whilst riding. This is my journey to getting back in the saddle and overcoming those fears.

I'm not fixed. I'm not this brave, fearless rider. But I have spent the last three years developing strategies and techniques to help myself. Strategies to understand where these emotions were coming from, and techniques to start to turn them around.

I don't promise to fix you. I don't promise to change your perspective. What I do hope is that sharing my story, and my journey will help you to understand yours. So you can find your way through your emotions, and you can be the best version of yourself.

There is no set cost to attending, however, please donate to the Givealittle page link below ⬇⬇⬇

Finding confidence in your voice is about unlocking your ability to speak up and stand out. This topic examines skills, techniques, tips and tricks to speak with clarity and confidence. It aims to give you the ability to take your authentic identity and your passion and purpose and turn those dreams into reality. Public speaking is a fear amongst up to 1/3 of us. This topic is about giving you the skills and practice to speak to be heard and understood.

Part 1- Courageous communications. This section focuses on overcoming nervousness and the fears we associate with public speaking. Together we delve into the idea that we all have these fears in some shape and form. Following this discussion, we use a range of practical exercises and teamwork tasks to develop and practise strategies to be able to make fear our friend.

Part 2 – Eloquently Spoken. This section delves into the practical skills and techniques we use in public speaking. This section will be broken down into three parts. Warming up to Succeed, understanding our Audience, and Speaking with Clarity. Sections will be a mix of information, group discussion and practical exercises.

You can attend in person (28th July 7pm at Bridges Church Cambridge) or via this live stream event.
