The Gisborne Jandal Juggernauts

In March, Craigs Investment Partners is again organising our company-wide fundraiser to support New Zealand’s regional rescue helicopters. This year, the company has generously agreed to support this challenge by matching upto $25,000 of funds raised for the various Helicopter Trusts. ​​​​​​​

By completing this challenge over the 31 days of March, the Gisborne Jandal Juggernauts will complete a total of at least 1550kms in support of the Eastland Helicopter Rescue Trust. That’s almost the length of New Zealand!

The Eastland Helicopter Rescue Trust covers one of the most isolated and sparsely populated areas in New Zealand – Tairāwhiti Gisborne, from Mahanga Beach in the south to Maungapohatu in the west and Te Kaha in the north. As well as running rescue missions a large part of their work is transporting patients from the region to larger centres for treatment, with a view to creating equity of access to medical services. With the rescue trust needing to raise over $700,000 each year as part of the cost of keeping the helicopter and its crew operating, Craigs Investment Partners is pulling out all the stops to support them in achieving this incredible goal.

With the devastation of last year's cyclone still fresh in our minds, and the recovery continuing, now is our opportunity to dig deep and give back to our local heroes. Thank you for your support!
