    Today, Emily successfully completed the Wellington marathon!

    It was a miserable day in Wellington today, wet and windy, which made things pretty hard. Despite that, Emily did amazingly, completing in a time of 4 hours 40 minutes.

    The sun did peek out for a moment, creating this beautiful rainbow which Emily captured, a wee message of encouragement from Hope.

    We are sooo proud of you Em, you have done so well! And on behalf of Sands Taranaki I would like to thank all that have donated, we can't wait to get stuck in to our memorial garden plans.

  • 500km down........

    Emily clocked up her 500th kilometre of marathon training today, she's going so well. Here's the view from today's run.

    We're also halfway to our target, thank you all those generous people who have supported Emily so far.
