Kia ora e te whānau,

I’m taking part in Toss the Boss to support our tamariki and rangatahi to participate in Polyfest; a kaupapa that sits close to my ngākau.

I’m representing Hiwa Navigation alongside my mahi as an Occupational Therapist, working with kiritaki under the ACC Sensitive Claims Scheme... walking alongside people on their journeys of healing, growth, and reconnection.

As a Ngāpuhi wāhine, a māmā, a friend, a therapist, and a member of the Ōtepoti community, I believe deeply in the importance of spaces like Polyfest. These are safe environments where our tamariki and rangatahi can stand proudly in their identity, celebrate culture, strengthen whanaungatanga, and experience joy through collective participation.

This kaupapa is about sustaining our values, uplifting our young people, and investing in who they are becoming.
