The challenge is to walk the equivalent of Northland’s Ninety Mile Beach (88kms) to raise money for Kind Hands! Kind Hands have set up a purpose-built cottage, offering respite care for children who are aged under 6 years, have a disability and/or are medically fragile and/or are technology dependent. It is intended to benefit all children in the above categories throughout Northland and is the only such facility offering respite care to these children in New Zealand.
