Darren is the Regional Branch Director for Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd. He has worked in the insurance industry for 33 years starting out his career working in various roles with insurers GRE and NZI. Darren made the move to Insurance Broking 15 years ago with Crombie Lockwood Dunedin.

The Dunedin office of Crombie Lockwood has consistently been a high performing Branch within the Crombie Lockwood network. During his time with Crombie Lockwood, Darren has held roles as a Broker, Group Broking Manager and now as Otago Regional Branch Director including the Oamaru office.

Darren is an associate of the Australian New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and holds qualifications as a certified Insurance professional and a FSP registered Financial Advisor

Born in Dunedin and a very proud Otago man, Darren represented the province at football and cricket. He has been involved in many community organisations’ including School Boards, sporting clubs and coaching teams.

Darren is married with a grown up son.

On the morning of the 24th May I'll be abseiling from the roof of Forsyth Barr Stadium 35 metres to the pitch below, fundraising for the Malcam Charitable Trust. All funds raised will go towards providing the youth of Otago experiences that enable them to discover who they are, and where they fit in.
