Tom was appointed as the Group Manager 3 Waters at the Dunedin City Council in August 2017. His team is responsible for providing drinking water, removing wastewater and stormwater, and managing coastal erosion for Dunedin’s residents. He loves the complexity of managing infrastructure and the challenge of bringing people together to deliver an essential service to a beautiful little city. He’s glad that his job does'nt involve abseiling, though.
Outside of work Tom enjoys spending time with his young family and being outdoors farming, hunting and surfing.

On the morning of the 24th May I'll be abseiling from the roof of Forsyth Barr Stadium 35 metres to the pitch below, fundraising for the Malcam Charitable Trust. All funds raised will go towards providing the youth of Otago experiences that enable them to discover who they are, and where they fit in.
