Otago

Megan joined Otago Polytechnic at the beginning of 2007. Megan is the Acting Deputy Chief Executive – Learner Experience at the Otago Polytechnic. With overall oversight and responsibility for all academic schools and the learner support services she is currently supervising 4 postgraduate students in the professional practice area, and is a member of the Otago Polytechnic Academic Board. Megan is the recipient of a National Award in Excellence in Tertiary Teaching.

She is a New Zealand Athletics coach, and well recognised within Otago Sport, including being a judge for the annual Otago Sports Awards.

Megan is a member of the following Boards:

 Otago Boys Sports Council

 ICT Signal Grad School

 Start Up Dunedin

On the morning of the 17th May I'll be abseiling from the roof of Forsyth Barr Stadium 35 metres to the pitch below, fundraising for the Malcam Charitable Trust. All funds raised will go towards providing the youth of Otago experiences that enable them to discover who they are, and where they fit in.
