Toss the Boss 2019 - Neill Rhodes

I am currently the Dunedin Branch Manager for ACC, a role I have held for the last 15 months or so.

Prior to working for ACC, I was Operations Manager for Immigration New Zealand, China. In that role I worked in a team of 120 locally engaged Chinese staff deciding Visa applications for Chinese nationals travelling to NZ for work, study and visit. I have also held roles in the Public Sector, Retail and Business Banking and I also worked as a Rugby Development and Academy Manager for the mighty Tasman Rugby Union “Fins up boys”

I am married to Leanna and we have two adult Children, a son in Christchurch and a daughter here in Dunedin attending the University of Otago.

My favourite food is Steak and Blue Cod. My favourite movie is a close call between The Castle and Dodgeball, (not sure what that says about my sense of humour!)

My interests revolve around Sport, Family, the beach and the BBQ and I absolutely love to holiday at the Endeavour Inlet in Queen Charlotte Sounds

I support both the Crusaders and Highlanders. I have both Jersey's though the Dunedin staff have issued a clear warning about wearing any red and back in the workplace. Perhaps this is the reason they have nominated me for Toss the Boss 2019.

It has been a very long time since I stepped up to a challenge of this height and I want to make it worthwhile so please help me raise my target of $1000 and beyond.
