Fundraising for Gumboot Friday

Ever since my beautiful baby Jonathan came along I've realised that I need to make sure that I am around to see him more as he grows and gets older.

As such I've decided for my health to give up alcohol for 100 days starting on the 9th of April to 17th July. For those that know me, I love a beer or wine, so this is a big challenge for me.

Im going to donate the money I would be spending on beer towards Gumboot Friday and would really love you to contribute if you can. My challenge is small compared to the challenge so many young people in New Zealand face.

Gumboot Friday helps connect young people with counsellors or therapists. All donations made to the Gumboot Friday Fund directly support kids in need.

Hi guys

Really want to thank you all for your generous donations.

I only have 14 days left of this challenge, im into the home strait!

Im thinking that this has also changed the way I think about alcohol and whilst Im really looking forward to a pint of Guinness or a glass of red wine, I think I wont be going back to how much I used to drink.
