Vodafone for Gumboot Friday!

Whether it’s you, or someone we know, mental health affects us all. But, for a lot of us, it’s a bloody hard thing to talk about. And we’re old (sorry not sorry)… so imagine how hard it must be for our kids? Gumboot Friday raises funds to provide free counselling for our kids so they have support to talk when they need to.

That’s why some of us at Vodafone have got together to raise funds for I am Hope, and Gumboot Friday. A fun way of recognising and raising awareness of a very serious issue.

And that’s probably why you’ve made it to this page – you’re keen to donate – so thanks!

Whether you’ve attended or heard about one of our events, or are a friend of Vodafone and just want to contribute, this is where you can do it. And with our goal of $20 000, every dollar counts! If we raise $10,000, Te Rourou (Vodafone Aotearoa Foundation) will match it! So, our goal of $20k will be reached with $10k!

Here’s what’s happening at Vodafone for our employees keen to help. For each event, we have put a “ticket cost” down, and we’ve asked Vodafoners to donate that to this page for any event attended. And remember, Vodafone will match every dollar up to $10 000, raised this November.

Friends of Vodafone can also participate in the gumboot design competition and with your generous donations to support kids who could really benefit from counselling. A heartfelt thank you for your support.
