Waikato Volunteer Operational Support/Hamilton Volunteer Fire Brigade support our community and Waikato region to reduce the likelihood of unwanted fires, reduce consequences from emergencies and work towards helping build a resilient communities.
This campaign has been set up to help our local Volunteer Fire Brigade raise funds to get the resources they need to enable them to better protect, serve and educate our community to prevent, minimise and reduce the risk of fires and emergencies from occurring but if they do, to respond, serve and protect our community quickly, efficiently and safely!
Our Hamilton Volunteer Fire Brigade/Operational Support also hold a Welfare Trailer to provide portable showers and toilets to Emergency Services and other personnel for long duration call outs to allow them basic welfare while they are saving lives, properties and fighting fires.
The better resources and capabilities our local Volunteer Fire Brigade has, the better they can serve, protect and educate our friends, families and wider community.
