A Waimarama community fundraiser supporting Hawke’s Bay Hospice through our “Shave the Mop” event.

Hawke's Bay

This fundraiser is very close to our hearts. Like many families, we’ve known and lost people affected by cancer and have seen firsthand the incredible care and support Hospice gives during some of life’s hardest moments. The recent passing of beloved Top Twin Jools Topp has also touched many people deeply and made this cause feel especially meaningful right now.

Our Waimarama community is coming together for a fun and meaningful “Shave the Mop” Saturday at 2pm 6th June at Eds Cafe Waimarama campground for a fundraiser to raise money for Hawke’s Bay Hospice. Every dollar raised will help Hospice continue providing comfort, care, and support to local families when they need it most.

Lottie Flowers' involvement (page creator)

Our community has personally experienced the care and compassion Hospice provides to local families during difficult times.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
