    Kia ora!! I know it’s late, but better late than never right…?

    I have finally completed all my walks! As you can tell I found it hard to get motivated to get outdoors and go for a walk however, after each walk I felt so refreshed an re-energised.

    Even though it can be a struggle to find the motivation to get up and get outdoors I highly encourage you to take some time out of your day, whether it be by yourself or with friends and whānau to go for a walk. Walking is such an easy and relaxing way to clear your mind. Getting out of your current environment and taking in the outdoors may help to release stress and ease your mind.

    From personal experience I can say that walking and getting some fresh air has really helped me. I work and live in the same place which can be overwhelming at times. This week I pushed myself to go for at least a 30 minute walk each day and I have really benefited from it. This is something I want to continue to do daily.

    My favourite walk so far has to be around the Hamilton Lake. I encourage you to get your walking shoes on and check out local walks near you 🫶🏽

    Went for my first walk today around Lake Rotoroa. So blessed to be able to get away from work and enjoy the sunshine! Might try and make this walk an everyday thing. 45 minute walk today - 7hours of walking to go ❤️

    Ngā mihi nui to everyone who supported me and my Walk for Wellness campaign! This week I will be completing the walks. To keep you all updated I will be posting on my Instagram page @walkforwellnesss. Overall $378 was raised for the Mental Health Foundation NZ 🫶🏽 I think that is about 8 hours of walking for me. I am looking forward to getting outdoors and making the most of the sunshine we have been receiving lately.

  • $20 = 25 minutes

    For every $20 donated I will go for a 25 minute walk. It is my goal to try out different walking tracks and locations throughout Hamilton. I will vlog/capture an image of each of my walks and post them up here to hopefully motivate and inspire others while also promoting different walking locations throughout Hamilton.
