Walking 5km a day for Women's Cancer

$1,010 of $2,000 goal
Given by 12 generous donors in 8 weeks

Walking 5km a day for the month of February in support of Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month

Nationwide

In New Zealand too many women die from a Gynaecological Cancer. The statistics are sobering. By walking 5km a day for the month of February I hope to raise funds to be used to educate women and their families on the signs and symptoms of all 5 women's cancers. Early detection can help save lives.

There are five women's gynaecological cancers. Can you name them?

Do you know the signs and symptoms? It is frightening how many women do not!

Knowing the signs and symptoms, taking action early, talking to your Doctor can save a life - It could be your grandmother, mother, sister, daughter, aunty, wife, partner or girlfriend.

For information on these cancers, visit www.nzgcf.org.nz

Let's do this together, let's save lives.

I'll be pounding the pavement every morning, you are welcome to join in.

Weekdays 6.30am to 7.30am

Weekends 7.00am to 8.00am

Meet at the bus stop in St Heliers - next to the flag pole.

Thank you for your support! It is a leap year...
