Walking 7000 steps per day for Ovarian Cancer

During September we are supporting Cure our Ovarian Cancer by walking 7000 steps per day (except on wet days or hospital stays).
I was diagnosed with advanced Ovarian Cancer in March. This was followed by 7 hospital stays due to infections. Now in August I've had my 6th round of Chemo.
Feeling the best I have since March, however lost a lot of muscle and walking has become our daily routine. I'm currently able to work 5000 steps per day so my new challenge is 7000 per day during September. My husband Ken, will also be walking with me - he's my constant companion and looks after me extremely well.
