Please support my walk so the families and children connected to OAI projects can get the food, support, education, and love they need.
International
On November 22nd I'm heading to Stewart Island with Sue Van Schreven, Co-Founder of Orphans Aid International, along with other walkers who are passionate also, about raising awareness and funds for the projects OAI have initiated and maintain.
These projects are varied and so far reaching and making a huge difference for many young lives. OAI works hard to ensure those suffering the impacts of poverty and abuse, especially orphaned and abandoned children, are given the love and care they so desperately need. I've had the opportunity to visit Casa Kiwi, Romania, OAI's first project, a home for the orphaned and abandoned, and the joy and love that exists here is amazing. The children are nurtured very well. The commitment to the children by so many, so beautiful. These children have been given a fresh start, a place to heal, and many have moved on to a forever home. And that's just one aspect of OAI.
If you can give a little, or a lot, thank you, thank you.
I know all charities do great work, but this one is extra special and made in NZ!
Please help us to reach the vulnerable with basic needs and a touch of love
.
I've got to get fit quick and get used to carrying a pack. Please encourage me!
Thank you!
It is my joy and privilege to work in an Orphans Aid Op Shop and now, taking it a step or two further with this great walk, hoping to raise awareness and funds for the great projects that are part of Orphans Aid International.
THANK YOU! 1 December 2020
As this page closes I want you to know how grateful I am for all the support. The donations will assist Orphans Aid International projects and go towards the extra demands that Covid has placed on them. Stewart Island, Rakiura, Land of the glowing skies: what a great time this random team had together. How inspirational, each one of you. Thankful! Thankful: the Lord sure did provide the way.
Be a part of Team Orphans Aid and hike the beautiful Rakiura Track on Stewart Island while fundraising to help children in crisis.
Thank you so much! Fanjollytastic!
