I'm a local Wanaka resident here on the South Island of NZ.The scale of the fires in Australia really hit home when a pall of smoke hung over us last week ..And we're 2.000 miles away!What must it be like for them over there if its this bad here... I live in a really awesome community and I know a lot of people were feeling helpless and did not know how to help.I decided to organise an Aussi Aid gig to show our solidarity with our Australian cousins during this terrible time.We wanted them to know that we , their neighbours and friends around the world care.

I'm organising a local music gig in Wanaka NZ.All performers are working for free in aid of the Australian fire service and Animal Rescue to assist our cousins during this terrible time.
