Wellington City Council team members are supporting Achilles NZ through their participation in Round the Bays 2016 via personal donations.

Funds raised for Achilles NZ go towards:

*Setting up training programmes, coaching and guide support; and

*Purchasing equipment for disabled athletes such as hand crank cycles and push rim wheelchairs.

During the run-up to the event, we have met representatives from Achilles and have been inspired by their efforts and determination to participate in sports events.

We're involved because we enter a team in Round the Bays every year and are happy to support the event's official charity partner.
