For our wedding celebration, we are raising money for The Animal Sanctuary.

---About us---

Aya & Brad - we are a vegan couple who are passionate about animal rights and supporting causes for animal protection.

We have been part of hen rescues, vegan outreach events and protests against animal abuse.

As we have worked and supported each other in our journey of animal rights activism, it has been a big part of who we are now as individuals and a team - making our relationship stronger.

---The Animal Sanctuary and us---

One of the missions we have been involved with is hen rescues. The Animal Sanctuary is one of the non-profit organisation which has put very hard mahi to make rescue operations successful.

Not just hens rescue, The Animal Sanctuary has saved literally thousands of animal lives from injuries and abusive situations over many years. They are non-profit and entirely run by donations.

Rescued animals here are very well looked after and able to live their life without suffering and fear.

However, looking after any animals (especially rescued animals) involves a significant amount of cost - food, hay, housing, vet bills, maintenance etc.

At the moment they particularly need funds for:

*Water!! (property is entirely relying on tank/rain water) as animals need water and summer time is always difficult

*Fencing for the rescued pigs,

and we need your support.

---Our wedding and wedding gift---

Our wedding is on 18th February 2021!

We will be having a super micro wedding as Covid doesn't allow us to have important family members from overseas.

We are fortunate that we are not needing materials and funds to support our wedding day.

However, if you would like to gift us to celebrate our marriage, please consider supporting The Animal Sanctuary by koha (donation) and that would be the best wedding gift for us.

Every little amount helps animals and means a lot to us.

コロナのお陰で、NZ外から家族を呼ぶことも、今のところ日本に帰ることもできないので、最小の式になります。

恵まれていることに、小さい式の費用は自分たちで賄う事が出来そうですし、ささやかですがが衣食住にも不便はありません。

そこで、私達の愛と情熱を注いでいるアニマルライツの一貫としてお手伝いさせて頂いている、サンクチュアリ(動物保護施設)への寄付のページをアップしました。

このサンクチュアリは、現在夫婦2人だけ、そして寄付金のみで怪我や虐待にあった動物達を保護し、面倒をみています。コロナの影響でボランティアも寄付金も減り、夏の水不足、動物達の治療費やご飯代、メンテナンスなど、動物達を支える為には少なくない費用がかかります。

厚かましいかもと思いますが、もし私達の婚姻を一緒に祝って頂けるとしましたら、御祝いとしてサンクチュアリに寄付をして頂ける事が、私達にとって一番の幸せになります。

(寄付金の100%はサンクチュアリへ、保護された動物達の為に使われます。)
