I’m going to spend my time in quarantine, Sweating to the Oldies with Richard Simmons, in order to support refugees against COVID-19.
Auckland
Fitness is a vital thing to maintain during this pandemic. It would be easy to allow the apocalypse to get in the way of my fitness goals but I refuse to leave this earth having squandered my last days as a couch potato. So, this April I’m pledging to devote at least an hour a day to exercise. Obviously, because I can’t go to the gym or leave the house very often for fear of contracting the Corona virus, I’ve decided to instead commit myself to spend my quarantine working out using online fitness videos.
During these challenging times we all need a little pep in our step to ward off this dreaded virus and so I’ve decided to turn to the master of pep, Mr. Richard Simmons himself! Richard Simmons is more than just an eccentric Letterman guest from a bygone era. He’s the only man who can bring some much needed fun and whimsy to my home fitness experience during these bleak and lonely days.
In these stark times, sequins, short shorts, spandex, jazz hands and big hair are going to be the very things I need to survive a plague. So join me as I spend my quarantine, Sweating to the Oldies with the most fabulous of fitness instructors.
Any money I raise through this endeavor will help to protect vulnerable refugee families from Covid19 by providing them with much needed clean water, soap, and food supplies.
So please help me shake off this virus one Cha-Cha at a time.
I want to do my bit to help vulnerable communities in this crisis.
Thanks so much for your generosity my friend!!! You're the best! Xoxo
