Wheelie Awesome August for Conductive Education

Conductive Education has supported my family and I since February 2020. They have helped me get stronger working on things like sitting, standing, walking and hydrotherapy. Conductive Education has provided my family with a support network while navigating so many unknowns that the disability journey throws at you.

Last year I had just had double hip surgery and was pretty sore so couldn't participate in Wheelie August easily but this year I am stronger than ever and ready to give back to Conductive.

You may see myself, Mum, Dad or my siblings Ella and Hugo out and about ticking up the kms all for Conductive over the month of August. I use many forms of transport that involve wheels to get around. My walker, wheelchair, and buggy which I love going fast when attached to Dad's bike.

Please support Conductive Education. The funding raised from this event will go towards the building of an accessible home for adults with disabilities. The rental from the house will be used to cover the annual shortfall (currently $40,000) for CEC’s early intervention service. Tamariki and their whānau will benefit from the income generated by the adults living in the house who are learning the skills to be as independent as possible. It’s a win win!!!
