Xave's off on a Californian Adventure thanks to Koru Care!

$1,715 of $6,500 goal
Given by 32 generous donors in around 5 months

An opportunity to give back to a great charity that has given to many for many years, with Xave being one of the lucky ones later this year.

Auckland

As you may be aware Xavier was born with a congenital heart defect and had open heart surgery at 6.5 weeks old. He will be 15 at the end of September and thanks to Heart Kids NZ for nominating him for the 2019 Koru Care California Adventure Trip he's been accepted, so will be winging his way to Los Angeles mid October for 2 weeks. A truly amazing opportunity for him and the other 25 children that have been selected, along with the 13 carers that get to go too.

Koru Care is a voluntary organisation and they receive minimal monetary sponsorship from companies; in fact, most money raised is through public contributions/donations, and given that the cost of these trips is approximately $200,000 we'd love to try and be able to help them out a little, and also be able to ensure that they can keep on doing this for years to come. Koru Care has been running trips to California and the Gold Coast for over 35 years now.
