Can lawyers fly? Only one way to find out - we're throwing a Simpson Grierson partner off the Sky Tower in support of Youthline.

In support of Youthline’s fundraising campaign at Sky City on Friday 3 August, we will be throwing Simpson Grierson partner Gerald Lanning off the Sky Tower (don't worry, he'll be tethered to a safety cord).

Gerald will experience 11 seconds of bird-like descent as he plunges 192m straight down after jumping from NZ’s highest building, descending 53 floors with the grace of a hawk, reaching a top speed of 85kph.

Youthline has been our main charitable partner since 2004. We provide support through an annual donation, pro bono advice, and a wide range of fundraising activities. We also provide graphic design support and one of our young lawyers sits on Youthline's Board of Trustees.
