Challenging myself & supporting some great local charities in the process

Timaru, Canterbury

After hitting 40 and deciding to become a MAMIL (middle aged man in lycra) for my health, I've challenged myself to do one of the most respected cycling events in South Canterbury!

I'm currently training to complete the Central South Island Charity Bike Ride, a +385km circuit from Timaru - Tekapo - Kurow - Timaru over three days. The ride begins on Feb 22nd with the last day Feb 24th.

The ride raises funds Hospice South Canterbury, The Y South & Mid Canterbury, Life Education Trust Mid & South Canterbury, Presbyterian Support South Canterbury – Family Works, Multiple Sclerosis South Canterbury, Mokihi Hauora, Timaru Riding for the Disabled and L4U(Learning for You)
