24-7 YouthWork

24-7YW is a not-for-profit charitable trust, and as such, we rely on generous benefactors for our future growth.

Canterbury

24-7 YouthWork is a network providing presence-based youth work through church and school partnerships. Presently, there are 175 youth workers in 74 schools around New Zealand. All together in Christchurch and Canterbury there are 75 youth workers, from 30 churches/youth trusts working in 31 schools.

24-7 YouthWork typically looks like two or more part-time youth workers employed for 10 hours per week. We work mainly in secondary schools, but services also operate in intermediate and full primary schools.

24-7 YouthWork is available for all young people in a school. It is community based, birthed, sourced and led. It is long-term, and it is collaborative.
