Programmes Early Childhood Family Support

Doing what is right, not what is easy.

The Mission operates the Dunedin Youth Transition Home (opening Jan 2018), The Early Years Hub and Little Citizens Early Childhood Centre in South Dunedin, Next Step Training for youth and adult education, community-based Client Support Services, prison-based education, parenting and life-skill programmes, community parenting programmes, primary and secondary school STEM-engagement programmes, and a wide range of other community-orientated programmes throughout the southern region.

The Methodist Mission has been standing up for social justice in the Otago region since 1890 by doing what is right, not what is easy. The Mission operates the Dunedin Youth Transition Home (opening Jan 2018), The Early Years Hub and Little Citizens Early Childhood Centre in South Dunedin, Next Step Training for youth and adult education. The Mission also delivers Parenting Through Separation throughout Otago, runs The Independent Advocacy Service in Otago and Southland and delivers education and rehabilitation programmes at Corrections sites in Otago and Southland, plus a number of community-based support, advocacy and education programmes for a diverse range of clients.
