Skin Cancer New Zealand Incorporated

Skin Cancer NZ is a registered charity of over 1,500 health professionals working to prevent skin cancers, improve outcomes and save lives.

Nationwide

New Zealand has some of the highest skin cancer incidence rates in the world. Nearly 100,000 New Zealander’s are newly diagnosed with skin cancer every year and over 500 people die annually. That's more deaths than on our roads.

Skin Cancer New Zealand is a registered charity of over 1,500 skin cancer professionals. We work together to ensure every person — no matter who they are or where they live — has access to the best possible skin cancer prevention, early detection, and care.

Your donation helps to:

- Educate and train health professionals in skin cancer prevention and early detection.

- Promote and share skin cancer information, research and best practice to health professionals.

- Connect those working in skin cancer to help ensure a coordinated, patient-focused approach.

- Advocate for improved skin cancer prevention, early detection, diagnosis, treatment and research through policy and funding support and the implementation of national standards.

You can find us on the Charities Register, www.register.charities.govt.nz, and our charity number is CC47542.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
