  • A New Chapter Begins!

    Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, we’re excited to share that Abilities has secured new temporary premises to move into. This is a huge step forward in our recovery journey and brings us one step closer to resuming our full operations.

    While we’ve been out of our facility, our amazing team has been meeting twice a week to stay connected, support one another, and keep our sense of community alive. Most importantly, your donations have allowed us to continue paying our staff through this difficult time - something we’re truly grateful for.

    This progress wouldn’t be possible without you. Every donation has made a real difference, and we’re filled with hope for what’s ahead. Thank you for standing with us as we rebuild Abilities - together.

  • Thank you NZ, we feel heard!

    We continue to be truly shocked and humbled by the incredible outpouring of support, and generosity from you all.

    After our story featured on Seven Sharp last night, our page soared by $100,000+ 🚀 — bringing us to over $180,000 in total!

    To say we were stunned is an understatement…

    Thank you NZ for standing with us, and reminding us what it means to be kiwi. We feel so supported.

    A huge thanks to the team at Seven Sharp, the amazing folks at PHAB NZ for hosting us, and most importantly – you all.

    Without your support we simply wouldn’t have been in a position to support our staff in this way, and start talking about the future.

    We are incredibly humbled and grateful to share, thanks to 1,382 generous donors, over $78,000 has been raised to support Abilities Group as we recover from the devastating fire. Your kindness and belief in what we do, are providing real hope to our team as we begin the journey to rebuild.

    On Saturday, we reunited our team for the first time since the fire - an emotional but uplifting moment - with special thanks to local councillors and North Shore Rotary for their incredible support. Our immediate priority remains supporting our staff through this challenging time, and your donations are truly appreciated to help drive this.

    Thank you for standing with us. Together, we are stronger. 💚♻️

      It is very pleasing to see that Kiwi’s hve been quick to respond to the need of Abilities Group so quickly 😁

      I’ve Neva given through ‘gives little’

      & Usually just through street corner collectors for the Sallies or local Hospice !

      The news publicity about the fire & TV3 presenters comments just hit a spot that instantly made me want to help 😊
